Title: Wolverine: Weapon X # 1

Comments: Wolverine is the toughest of the tough. Mess with him and you pay in spades. The art does show off his no nonsense attitude. Great facial expressions.
Logan has been at this for a long time. He is the one that gets to deal with all the wanntabe Wolverines. They made him the perfect killer, the perfect weapon so now he looks after any more attempts to make another him and shuts it down.
Now what has green glowing adamantium claws and kills and there are multiples of? We will see next issue and so will Logan.
Logan is shown here as a man who works with others but is basicly a loner. He likes it that way.
Now this comic does showcase Logan nicely. But do we really need another Wolverine series though. Well it is presented well and illustrated beautifully. Wolverine is one tough Canadian.

Comments: A reporter for the San Francisco Post is investigating Wolverine. She feels there is a story there.
Two of the Black Guard have Logan in their sights. Logan as usual takes control only these Black Guard are not just ordinary black ops they turn out to be his equal physically if not mentally. The glow-in-the-dark energy claws are drawn very cool. How can Logan beat around a dozen versions of himself well he is more than the physical. He has experience, he knows how to fight multiple opponents.
Wolverine here is shown as a hunter but even the hunter becomes the hunted sometimes. This is Wolverine as he is meant to be. Black Ops operations, using his claws to skewer. Logan does know how to get down and dirty. He knows how to deal with any situation. He knows how to use his razor sharp adamantium claws to full effect.

Comments: Twelve highly trained members of Strikeforce X all after one wolverine. The twelve all are armed and equiped with lealing factors, metal bones, laser claws and guns all against one person Wolverine. They didn't stand a chance.
The art could be better. It is not focused enough. It should be brought into detail more, made clearer.
Roxxon is a multi billion dollar company and it controls the Strikeforce X. What will become of these wantabe Wolverines? Will they take over all the US's black ops? Well with Wolverine now on to them, we'll see.
The government though seems to be on the side of he who has the money. Now Wolverine as we all know isn't. He is shown as a tracker here as well as a fighter. Once he is tracking you there is no getting away. Wolverine is shown here being the best there is at what he does. What he does isn't very nice.

Comments: Logan is after twelve Weapon X subjects all with powers and abilities just like his. Well except for the lazer claws. The green color on them looks amazing. Logan has a mad on for these guys and the ones who created them. His high speed pursuit leading to a exciting action packed laser vs claw slug fest that will have you thrilled. These two certainly go at it. Its bloody and brutal.
There is not much of a story here. It is just Wolverine hunting down anyone involved with this new program. His rage is illustrated well and really brought out in the writing. You can easily tell he is someone to fear when he is mad. He will do what it takes.
This is Wolverine at his finest. Shown as a hunter and fighter. Its what he does best. After all he is the best at what he does.

Comments: If there is one thing you can expect from Wolverine it is the unexpected. When everyone thinks he is doing this he will be doing that. Eleven to one odds he doesn't even pause. His attack is fast and savage. Wolverine is relentless.
This is one all out issue full of action. Set a trap for Wolverine and he will walk right in, any trap for him can and will also be a trap for those setting it. Hunting a hunter can always backfire.
The government sppoks working for Norman Osborn well some are good, some are bad. Norman seems so much more evil than anyone else. He looks sadistic and maybe a bit insane.
This is Wolverine at his finest. He shows us all why he is the best at what he does. Except no substitutes.

Comments: Logan is in an asylum and he is being played to think he is insane. Well at times maybe he is. But he doesn't belong in an insane asylum. He knows it deep down.
This is one weird asylum. the guards look like government issue. the building is filthy. The medical staff except for one Dr. seems non existant. Very strange indeed.
The patients seem off. As if they are just there and not being helped. More like mistreated prisoners. Somehow something is being done to them to make them docile.
Someone has really done a job on Wolverine. More mind control or drugs or something to mess with him. You know once he is free of it there will be hell to pay.
This is a strange story even for Logan. You will be left wondering what is going on and why.

Comments: Logan is in an insane asylum. Dr. Rot is taking care of him trying to release his more violent tendencies. Why is Wolverine here that is a mystery that hopefully will be revealed soon or at least have some clues revealed. Dr. Rot now this doctor is certifably insane.
Logan is Patient X and he is being pushed and pushed to be violent. Like most people if you push hard enough and long enough they will push back. You can only harrass a person so far. Than they snap as in Logan remembering and remembering what he does. He is the best at what he does and what he does isn't very nice. Dr. Rot wanted a violent Logan wel hes got a Wolverine who is ready to kill. So what is going on in this insame asylum? Who is this Dr. Rot? There is no way this makes any sense as is. Something or someone is behind all this. Who and why should be very interesting to find out.
